'Wine' down your week in the Blue Ridge with live music and open grills at Stinson Vineyards
Local food, local wines and local music are some of the finest summertime staples of central Virginia. At Stinson Vineyards, families and friends can spend several evenings this summer enjoying these great pairings while taking in an unrivaled view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Every Thursday in June, the public can take a nice drive through the country and join the community at Stinson’s beautiful Crozet location for open grilling and live music. The only thing you need to bring is food to be grilled; Stinson will provide the rest–grills, grill tools, plates, utensils, condiments and live music– all free of charge. Of course, the wine costs a little, but we think it is more than worth it.
This week, live entertainment will be provided by the Bobby Midnight Band on the patio outside the Stinson tasting room. Guests will be able to enjoy the music from one of several grills, the fire pit, or the winery’s seating areas.
Whether you are looking for a date night outing or simply planning a Thursday night for your family, we think this is a great event for everyone in the Charlottesville area to enjoy. And the good news is that you don’t have to clean the grill when you're done.
